Hi, I’m Angela.
When I was little, I wanted to be an explorer — someone like Alan Whicker or David Attenborough, heading off to far-flung places to uncover their secrets.
Little girls from south London didn’t usually get that memo, so I parked the idea. Then one day in 2017 it tapped me on the shoulder again. I decided that if I couldn’t be a TV explorer, I could at least go exploring — and off I went.
These days, I’m happiest on the road: watching people (quietly, I’m surprisingly shy), filming the landscapes that make me cry, and sharing the bits that make other midlifers think, “I could do that.”
I travel because I’ve always wanted to — and I don’t want to reach the end of life wishing I’d been places.
Oh, and if you’re ever on a long journey behind me… please don’t kick my seat.
